Dr. Oluwatoyin Adenike Fabiyi obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), International Law and Diplomacy (MILD), and Crop Protection (MSc). She bagged a Ph.D. in Crop Protection, focusing on Nematology/Toxicology. She is a member of the European Society of Nematology (ESN), the Organisation of Nematologists of Tropical America (ONTA), and the American Phytopathological Society (APS). Her research includes molecular identification of plant parasitic nematodes and investigation of bio-active principles and agro-nano materials for nematode management. Her team received a TWAS research grant worth US$58,000. She won the 1st individual research prize in agriculture at the 6th Nigerian National University Research and Development Exhibition Fair (NURESDEF) and received awards for best presenter at some of the international conferences she attended. She has to her credit over 90 publications in highly reputed international and national journals. She was an Assistant Director at the University of Ilorin Renewable Energy Centre (UREC). She is currently the Deputy Director at the Centre for Blue and Regenerative Economy. Dr. Fabiyi is married with children.
