Dr. Oladimeji Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, an M.Sc., and a Ph.D. degree in Crop Protection from the University of Ilorin. He specializes in Epidemiology of fungal diseases affecting tropical crops in the field as well as in storage. He has many years of teaching experience in plant pathology and research experience in the management of post-harvest crop losses. He is currently working on using natural products to control fungal pathogens as an alternative to the conventional synthetic fungicides. He has contributed to knowledge through publications of scholarly articles in local, National, and international Journals. He is a member of some organizations in his academic discipline, and he is a reviewer and member of the editing panel for journals within and outside the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
