Mujidat Temidayo Lawal is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Crop Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin. She holds a Ph.D. in Crop Protection with specialization in Entomology. She also holds a Master degree in Public Administration (MPA), her first degree was in Applied Biology. She is particularly interested in the reduction of postharvest losses, processes, and technologies for the preservation of crops for households, small and medium-scale farmers.
Dr. Mujidat has served on various committees in her department and faculty. She has served as a level adviser for various levels and departmental examination officer, faculty representative to different Faculties, Quiz and Debate club, and Unilorin Muslim Ladies’ Circle. She serves as the Desk officer of Unilorin-NSPRI collaboration.
She has published in both local and international journals and supervised several undergraduate projects. She is a member of some notable societies such as the Entomological Society of Nigeria, the Horticultural Society of Nigeria, the Nigerian Society for Plant Protection, and Nigerian Women in Agricultural Research for Development. Her research interest spans through Agricultural and Storage Entomology, and Integrated Pest Management.
